Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion

Spring edition of Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion was included 14 events with over 400 participants from Russia and abroad. Representatives of over 150 retail store chains, department stores and shops came to the Forum from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Ivanovo, Vologda, Perm, Orel, Voronezh, Yoshkar-Ola, Kostroma, Murmansk.

Special Buyer Program

In spring 2015 the Fashion Industry International Tradefair was visited by 5200 specialists and buyers (the total amount of visitors was 10 145 people). They were owners of retail shops, sellers, wholesale purchasing agents, distributors and importers of fashion garments from Tallin, Minsk, Astana, Kishinev, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Nizhnyi Novgorod, Velikyi Novgorod, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, Kaliningrad, Tomsk, Saratov etc.

Business centre was open for buyers and wholesalers during all days. It was a special platform for negotiations and consultations. From 12 till 15 March 2015 the Vacancies’ Fair was organized together with the biggest russian portal FashionUnited and presented at the Fair. The aim of the project is to attract high-qualified specialists and young and talented workforces in the industry. As the result of the project people could find available vacancies of the fashion market, meet with HR of big branch companies.

Daily business-consultations were held at the Trade Fair. It was organised together with consulting company ART. Dozens of people asked practical advices from the consultant, discussed problems and perspectives of retail and shared their experience. The most current problems were budget planning, assortment’s management, promotion etc.

Competition of creative projects “GENERATION NEXT”

XIII International competition for young designers “Generation Next” was held during the Fashion Industry exhibition. Over 100 young designers took part in this competition and showed their creative ideas and exclusive collections. This year there were 3 nominations- Costume, Textile and Graphic design. There were designers from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vladivostok, Belgorod, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, N.Novgorod, Krasnodar, Kursk, Magnitogorsk, Omsk, Orel, Ufa, Minsk, Vitebsk, Milano, Riga. The judges had admitted a very high level of contest samples and modern ideas of showing them. The winner of the Costume nomination have become Prodan Olga, for the Textile nomination- Nezhkina Maria, for the Graphic design nomination- Pervina Irina.

  5. Mailing of invitation cards and info leaflets to managing directors of fashion trading companies and fashion specialists: over 22 000 addresses
  6. Informational support from Trade and Commerce Chambers of Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk. Distribution of over 1100 invitation cards and info brochures to traders and specialists of North-Western region.
  7. Organization of regional trade business delegations from Velikiy Novgorod, Pskov,Vologda accompanied with cities’ Administrations, TV and mass media.
