41 International Trade Fair Fashion Industry was held in Peterburgskyi SCC from 14^th till 17^th of March, 2013. Organizer is exhibition company FarEXPO.

The Fashion Industry exhibition is the main event for the industry in North-West region of Russia. This event gathered together over 250 companies from 13 countries. During the exhibition National exposition of Italy, Romania and Turkey were organized.

Exhibitors presented knitwear, outwear, lingerie, textiles, leather accessories, shoes, fittings and equipment. Nowadays the Fashion industry is a unique business- platform in North-West Russia for making new contacts, effective exchange of experience, presentation new collections and analysis of Russian fashion market and competitive products.

Honored guests, such as Deputy-Minister of industry and trade Mr. Kolomanov, member of State Duma Mr. Pozgalev, president of concern RosLegProm Mr. Kryglik, Deputy President of St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Prokopiev, General Consulate of Romania in St.Petersburg Mr. Pahonea, popular designer Vyacheslav Zaitcev, were presented at the opening ceremony of the Fashion Industry exhibition.

During the exhibition Vyacheslav Zaitcev presented the book, written by Sergey Esenin, named “Slava Zaitcev: Master and Inspiration” and answered questions of journalists. Also the Maitre of Russian fashion viewed works of young designers- participants of the Generation NEXT contest, where students and graduates of Universities present their new collections. First time this year the winner of the Contest has became a nominee for the National Award of the fashion industry. First place took Anastasia Kizilova with her collection “Narcissus and Goldmund”. One of the central places at the exhibition is taken by Economic Forum of the fashion industry. Conferences, trainings, seminars and master-classes were holding during the forum. It is a unique event where participants can get necessary information about nowadays problems in business management, find out about modern tendencies and exchange the experience.

This edition of the Fashion Industry exhibition was visited over by 10 000 people, over 56% buyers from professionals.
