The aim of the trade fair: is to create best conditions for B2B meetings between clothes and textiles manufactures as well as fashion exporters and local distributors, importers and retailers. The trade fair is a perfect place to establish new business contacts, to conclude long time treaties, to make orders for up-coming season collections, to exchange with a professional experience in the sector of sewing technologies, professional business event organization and marketing researches.

The general information: The Fashion Industry trade fair is one of the largest fashion exhibitions in Russia and the only fashion exhibition in St Petersburg and St Petersburg area. It continually goes since 1993 twice a year. The trade fair is included in the list of prior events supported by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce of Russia, St Petersburg City Administration and the Government of Leningrad Region. The trade fair cooperates with St Petersburg Chamber of Trade and Commerce and other Russian Regional Chambers of Trade and Commerce and local Governments. The trade fair is a part of the Russian national project on development of Russian market of textiles and clothes industry “Russian fashion” (organizers “Roslegprom” / “RLP-Yarmarka”) and “Russian weeks of fashion and textiles” (organizers “Concern “Rostextil” / “Textilexpo”). Since 2004 “Fashion Industry” is an approved event of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
Business program: During the trade fair the Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion is organized at the same venue. It is usually participated by over 400 fashion specialists and retailers – chief managers of manufacturing companies and managers of retail store chains, designers, mass media agents and clothing and textiles universities’ teachers and students.

Advertising campaign: Direct mail and courier distribution of personal invitation cards to the chiefs of the key trading companies and specialists of the fashion market. Announcement of the fair and its business programme in specialized mass media: printed and on-line magazines, newspapers, bulletins and catalogues. Preview trailers on radio and principal television cannels. Street and subway advertisement. Distribution of press- and post-releases. Organization of trade business delegations from different Russian regions escorted with TV and mass-media.
