Venue: The exhibition will be held in Saint Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex. It is one of the best exhibition sites of the city. It has a lot of special facilities for participants as well as spacious halls and foyer, modern exhibition equipment, professional podiums with spectator places next to them, conference halls, bars, cafes and wardrobes.

The general information on the exhibition: "Fashion Industry" is the largest specialized exhibition in the North-Western Region of Russia. It goes since 1993 twice a year. It is included in the list of prior events supported by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce of Russia, St Petersburg City Administration and the Government of Leningrad Region. The fair has close relationship with Chambers of Trade and Commerce of the North-Western region of Russia and Governments of other Russian Regions. T
The fair is included in Russian federal exhibition projects on the development of Russian market of light and clothing industry “Russian fashion” (“Roslegprom” / “RLP-Yarmarka”) and “Russian weeks of fashion and textiles” (“Concern “Rostextil” / “Textilexpo”). Since 2004 “Fashion Industry” is an approved event of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

The most important purpose of the exhibition: Creation of best conditions for one’s presentation of made garments, exchange of professional experience in the sector of technologies and professional business organization, establishment of new contacts and concluding treaties with them, marketing research and research of one’s goods comprehensiveness.

The conception of the fair development is directed to business with wholesalers and specialists of fashion industry.
October 6-7 – the entrance is restricted for the specialists and trade representatives. Entrance is free of charge. Ticket office is closed.
October 8-9 - the entrance for the specialists and trade representatives is free of charge. Ticket office is open for public visitors.

Exposition area: over 15 000 sqm
Exhibitors: around 300 companies from Russia and foreign countries

Visitors: over 15 000 people. The number of professional visitors is over 5 800 people.

Business program of the exhibition: The most important business event during the Fair is the Economic Forum of the Industry of Fashion. It is participated by over 400 experts of the branch – chief managers of manufacturing firms and trade networks, retail buyers, designers and production engineers, mass media agents and specialized universities’ teachers and students.

Particular attention during the Forum is paid to the following subjects:

• Trade in new conditions: suppliers, formats, assortment management
• Fashion trends
• Ways to increase sales in the conditions of consumer’s income decrease
• Shop management as a management of a fashion brand
• How to value your client to make him value you
• New standards of personnel management and motivation in a fashion shop

Advertising campaign: Direct mail and courier distribution of personal invitation cards to the chiefs of the key trading companies and specialists of the market of the fashion. Announcement of the fair and its business program in specialized mass media. Advertising in the World Wide Web by means of banners and floating windows. Preview trailers on the popular radio and principal television cannels. Street and subway advertisement. Distribution of press- and post-releases. Organization of region trade business delegations coming to the Fair escorted with TV and mass-media.
